What is Workplace Financial Education?

Workplace financial education aims to educate, guide and support your employees. It provides them time to talk with a financial adviser to give them a greater understanding of their finances and allowing them to make informed decisions.

What are the benefits of offering financial education in the workplace?

Motivating and retaining your employees is fundamental to the long-term success of your business. Caring for employees wellbeing is widely recognised as contributing significantly to the success of a business and providing financial education can be considered as an employee benefit in its own right.

To succeed in today’s busy world, employees focus their time and energy on their business priorities and objectives. As a result, many employees have limited time to understand and look after their personal finances, this can impact their wellbeing as they stress over day-to-day finances or their financial futures.

The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) found that poor financial wellbeing has a detrimental impact on employees’ health from increased stress levels and anxiety. In turn, this can result in lower productivity from poorer job performance and absenteeism. 25% of workers report that money worries have affected their ability to do their job (CIPD, 2017).

Our Financial Education Programme aims to assist you in improving the financial wellbeing of your employees. The programme aims to help your employees understand their own financial circumstances and empowering them to make informed decisions regarding their finances.
